Wrong language for you, but Slovakian equivalent of IWO came with strongly worded message which includes the part of constitution giving people right to defend their rights if government fails them.

Few weeks ago I paid ~500 expenses to get WBK. I still don't have it as BH has time and if this change passes, I will basically not need it because one needs it mostly only for semi-auto (pistol & HA rifle).

Government will use tax (=our) money to compansate for our confiscated weapons (if at all)
These money will then not be available for other uses, eg less for health care, etc.
At the end, we will pay for it anyway - they will just steal it from us one way or the other.
