Ist das wirklich eine Waffe?

Nachdem man keine beweglichen Teile erkennen kann, sieht´s für mich eher wie so ein Tischfeuerzeug (in Pistolenform) aus!

Das Ding am Magazinboden sieht sehr verdächtig nach Feuerzeugventil aus
Aber wer sagt dass es eine Waffe sein muss? Nur eine Schwiegermutter darf es nicht sein

The Mondragon rifle, designed by Mexican Manuel Mondragon, was the first semiauto rifle adopted by a national military. It was not particularly successful beyond passing that bar, but it did show the way of things to come. Interestingly, it used a gas piston and rotating bolt – not a common mechanism at the time, but very common today.

The Bommarito was one of the many rifle designs sent to the US Ordnance Department when they announced a search for a capable autoloading rifle for the US Army. It was not one of the more successful entrants, though. It used a toggle lock like the Luger and later Pedersen rifle, and was heavy, unreliable, and liked to eat shooters’ fingers in its toggle mechanism.

Bergmann pistol – the M1910/21 – in the Vault for some time now, and today it is joined by another of Theodore Bergmann’s pistols. The Simplex was a refinement of Bergmann’s original design, and manufactured in Belgium under license before World War I.
