Knives are finished, now to work on sheaths. You can see the grain structure running along them. My son's got left in the etchant acid a bit too long. His is very visible. THE THIRD ONE DOWN IS ENTIRELY HER WORK. :D

Mine is in curly maple and silver. The ladies' are in honey buffalo horn and silver, and my son's is in elk bone and silver.

Thanks. The pedal hammer helps a lot on welding billets.

I've done it with a 2 lb hammer. I'm sure someone has done it on a rock with their dick. :lol:

But a 70 lb pedal hammer makes it EASIER.

The three billets were put together with a 2 lb hammer, and forged to shape the same way.
